Refund policy

Returns

All our products are considered custom and made to order. As such, they are not eligible for a return, unless damaged upon receiving through no fault of your own. If you believe your purchase is eligible, please follow the instructions below under ‘Refunds’ to be considered.  

Gift card purchases, sale items, and downloadable software products are considered non-returnable and non-refundable products. 

Our policy for eligible returns lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase and you have not contacted us to communicate the damaged goods, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund.

Refunds/Exchanges (if applicable) 

Please email Artists for Humanity at exhibitions@afhboston.org, with a photo of your damaged product(s) and original shipping materials, should you believe you qualify for a return or exchange of the same damaged item. If we deem that you are eligible, we will provide you with a return shipping address. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

The product must be shipped in its original shipping materials, unless damaged upon delivery, and must include a receipt or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, as a small non-profit we are not in the position to assume return shipping costs. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. If you are replacing the item for the same item, we will issue the order and ship the replaced item back to you. Standard shipping times apply. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If your refund has been approved, and you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.  Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at exhibitions@afhboston.org.

Gift Card Refunds/Exchanges (as applicable)

If you purchased your item using a gift card, follow the steps above under Refunds/Exchanges to process the return and refund or exchange. If deemed eligible and approved for a return, you will receive a new gift card by email for the value of your approved return.
